I had occasion last week to feel of God's interest in me. For the first time in a long time (regrettalby) I truly and sincerely prayed for guidance on my vocation and education as well as guidance for me and my family. It happened when I was alone, quietly pondering, with no interruptions. I felt him directing me to read a certian article and then the impressions came. I'll be forever grateful for his love and interest in me. There is no doubt that God is real and intently interested in each of us.

After some reflection concerning the nature and respect that our Father has for us, he knows how unique we are, he allows us to approach life through our agency of choice where if we learn to anticipate change, even expect it will create and identity of deity, even pure growth. However, when our interest turns to those things that move us into slow currents where we are constantly being acted upon, surely a dangerous waterfall will seal our fate. So let us ride the currents of life, paddling, moving, growing, and reach upward to our eternally interested Father and his Son.
